Are you detail-oriented, with an excellent command of the English language? We are looking for an immigration paralegal who can get stuff done and make a difference in the world. You will join a small team making a difference for millions of immigrants. You should be interested in what good writing and speaking are and the ability to set expectations and keep customers happy.

What you will do

• Own customer communication, answer and make phone calls, respond to emails, internal messages, etc.
• Triage between clients and legal staff
• Fill out and compile documents with meticulous detail
• Write briefs and legal arguments for court proceedings
• Track case progress, shepherding cases towards completion
• Be in charge of making sure things get done/file/shipped on time

What we're looking for

• Experience. Must have at least 2 years of prior US immigration law firm experience
• Management experience is a plus
• Customer-obsession. Making someone else happy actually makes your day
• Quality is key. You have high standards and it shows in your work
• You have experience handling and coordinating client matters and communications
• You have strong communication skills and the ability to work well cross-functionally
• You have strong client support, coordination, and task management experience
• Must have a quiet home office with a computer, and reliable internet connection
• Must be excellent in spelling and grammar
• Must be articulate and have an excellent command of the English language
• Must be willing to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessments
