We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Regional Vit Ret Manager supporting the Marketing Team, a typical day will include:
  • Achievement of VIT Ret sales objectives, including equipment and consumables - Units and Value
  • Face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions
  • Develop Vit Ret business plans for distributors and implement related activities such as customer events, sales and marketing campaigns, sales presentations necessary to achieve the objectives.
  • Maintain and improve product awareness, product strategy, positioning, key messaging, programs, customers, and competitors.
  • Contribute positively to the distributor's sales team through cooperative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve goals.
  • Supporting clinical customers in the OR
  • Support the distributors to speed up listing process for the core product of VR (incl. equipment and accessory)
  • Assist distributor’s key account specialists to work with surgeons in OR and synergy with distributor’s team
  • Collaborate with product manager to establish product strategy by providing market dynamics
  • Improve on selling skills and product knowledge alongside with the training manager
  • Establish strong and effective business relationships with all customers and key decision makers
  • Keep up with administrative tasks and support, providing timely reporting
  • Report on competitive activities and follow-up commercial strategies, in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance of company SOPs, vigilance reporting, code of conduct and local regulations in daily operation.
  • Complete any other business task assigned by supervisor
  • Work hours: 40 hours
  • Travel: Up to 30-40%

Preferred Experience:
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a medical environment
  • 3-5 years work experience in Vit-Ret portfolio
  • Consultant experiences for high-end medical consumables or capital equipment – preferred
  • Effectively and efficiently conveys clear, complete and focused information
  • Interacts with people at all levels of authority; tailors’ messages to audiences and listens to the views of others
  • Effectively presents topics/information to individual and group audiences
  • Demonstrates sensitivity and awareness to other people and cultures
  • Logical and analytical approach to solving problems
  • Ability to work independently; proactive in taking initiative
  • Possesses excellent trust building relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Demonstrates sound business decision making, based on fairness and consistency
  • Collaborate with teammates to share standard processes and findings as work evolves
