The company chose Panama as being best suited to establish its new Global Business Services (GBS) operation center. This new center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones. Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. This new GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting. In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives. Position Overview:

The Material Management, Analyst is responsible for supporting the material management planners and schedulers by performing a variety of transaction-based activities. The position is responsible for tracking and following up on POs, Quality Notification, Advanced Shipping Notice, and Destruction Authorization Verification to reduce intervention needed from MM planners and schedulers. This role has strong analytical, problem solving, and communications skills with the ability to drive tasks from start to completion and will need to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.



Qualifications


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Track status of Purchase Orders, follow up on past due PO’s, balance supply demand by managing exceptions / alerts (de-expedite, cancel, or change volume) as instructed by Material Planner to protect service requirements/de-expediting orders to manage inventory.
  • Perform redeployment of materials across sites
  • Raise Destruction orders (DAV’s) for excess or obsolete inventory, including reviews and follow ups.
  • Manage expirations of materials
  • Track and close out Quality Notification actions.
  • Raise and track Quality deviations through the approval process.
  • Partner with Transportation to resolve past due Purchase orders.
  • Perform data chasing, data management, and verification of data.
  • Create Sales Orders with SAP and track to delivery.
  • Create Liability Purchase orders within SAP/Ariba
  • Reporting writing and execution

  • Organizational skills – manage multiple tasks at one time with strong follow up skills.
  • Highly analytical – analyzes data and provides clear / fact-based analytics and solutions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Expertise and experience with using SAP, O9, Ariba, Microsoft tools (Excel, BI, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to successfully manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and tactfully navigate multiple cross-functional, matrixed stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and quick to react and respond to changes.
  • Execution oriented – thrive under pressure with a demonstrated ability to get things done.
  • Ability to work within a global, cross-functional team, collaborating with Procurement, Planning, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Vendors, and Commercial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional complex problem-solving abilities

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Research, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in material planning, supply planning, sourcing / purchasing and supplier management within the beauty / cosmetic industry.
  • Knowledge of supplier management / collaboration, inventory management and procurement
  • Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and supplier collaboration tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, O9, Excel, Microsoft BI or similar report writing tools)
  • English – Written and Verbal; Other languages beneficial
  • CPSM, APICS or similar licenses or certifications
