Description

Global Deployment Planner & Inventory Position is an individual contributor role. The role will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for inventory deployment from global to regional hubs
  • Responsible to execute - executional horizon strategic allocations defined by GDP


Key Responsibilities:


This role supports inventory deployment and execution of distribution requirements planning (DRP) in alignment with Global Demand Planning (GDP). The responsibilities include:

  • Inventory Management: Executes tasks to maintain optimal inventory levels by brand, category, and SKU.

  • Collaboration with GDP: Works closely with GDP on risk mitigation, shipment prioritization, and planning adjustments.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Prepares reports on supply risks, fill rates, inventory health, and cost optimization for global planning leadership.

  • Executional Tasks: Manages manual shipment creation, large shipment splits, returns processing, and inventory balancing.

  • Master Data Maintenance: Updates master and transactional data per global planning instructions.

  • Exception Handling: Oversees tasks like expiring stock actions, quality notifications, air freight requests, and regulatory holds.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field (minimum).
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in material scheduling, supply planning, sourcing / purchasing and supplier management within the beauty / cosmetic industry.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and inventory management tools (e.g., SAP, Advanced Planning Systems, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge in distribution and inventory management techniques, processes and policies.


Capabilities:

  • Strong analytical skills to achieve excellence in inventory optimization and deployment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, time constraints, with a large group of team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to successfully manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build sharp and concise reports, and tactfully navigate multiple cross-functional, matrixed stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and quick to react and respond to changes.
  • Strong understanding of supply base, industry trends, and product knowledge
