Output 1: Report on methodologies to develop an analysis of the cost of Business as Usual without implementing adaptation measures Product No. 1: Document containing a detailed description of the approach and strategy to be followed, clearly outlining the methodologies, actions, and stages that will guide the development of the agreed-upon products. This description will provide a comprehensive roadmap for achieving the established objectives. Report on methodologies for conducting an analysis of Business as Usual costs, identifying, comparing, and analyzing experiences from other countries (sectors) in private sector activities (benchmarking)." Output 2: Cost analysis of Business as Usual without adaptation measures in 3 private sector activities. Product No. 2: Document presenting: Report assessing the cost of conducting business as usual (Business as Usual) in 3 private sector activities. The report must include, for each activity, a description of the methodology, data, figures, and/or indicators: risks and potential opportunities identified based on the approach to climate change adaptation, and specific recommendations for each analyzed private sector activity for its applicability and replicability. Mapping and characterization of information sources and stakeholders in the process. Including: Supportive and verification means. The consultant will be responsible for the execution of the following activities: a- Develop a feedback meeting with Plan A and the National Directorate of Climate Change to agree on the process details and each defined product. b- Hold a meeting for socialization/validation of the work plan and schedule with UNEP and SERNA. c- Conduct interviews, working meetings, and/or workshops with stakeholders related to the consultancy objectives. d- Identify, compare, and analyze experiences from other countries in developing and implementing methodologies for analyzing the cost of Business as Usual without adaptation measures in the private sector. e- Organize an articulation meeting with the DNCC and the Sub-Secretariat of Environment. f- Conduct interviews with stakeholders involved in private sector sectors and activities, as well as stakeholders who are sources of primary or secondary information for the development of BaU analysis in those sectors and activities. g- Host a meeting for socialization/validation of the proposed products with the working group to support the consultancy. h- Document and systematize the processes and actions leading to the development of the consultancy products. i- Maintain a relationship of coordination and constant communication with the Plan A Honduras project team and the National Directorate of Climate Change of SERNA through regular progress meetings on the products. j- Validate products and deliverables with the designated instances at the beginning of the consultancy. k- Provide inputs and validate versions of the products in their original format when requested. l- Deliver versions of the products in presentation format (PowerPoint) when requested.
