Position Available:

We are hiring English-Spanish interpreters for assignments in Lima, Peru

Details:

• Contract Type: Independent contractor position.

Requirements:

• Being a Consecutive or Simultaneous interpreter. (Please no OPI or VRI).

• Minimum 1 year of interpreting experience.

• Equipment: You need to have/rent your own equipment, including portable RF transmitters, RF receivers with earbuds, and Listen Technologies Basic DSP RF receivers. Please include rental rates for equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain professionalism

• Follow COVID-19 precautions and accurately interpret conversations.

• Manage the flow of discussions without taking over or engaging inside conversations.

Additional Information:

o The events are often sent at short notice.

o The client requires interpreters to rent their own equipment.

o Events typically last over 20 days, so interpreters should provide their long-term assignment rates.

o Consecutive and simultaneous interpreters only.

o Please DO NOT apply if you are a remote interpreter.
