This is a remote, work-from-home position.
To be considered, you must take the one-way video interview.
Are you detail-oriented, with an excellent command of the English language? We are looking for an immigration legal assistant who can get stuff done and make a difference in the world. You will join a small team making a difference for millions of immigrants.
What you will do
- Get cases ready for filing
- Work with paralegals, clients and attorneys to get cases completed
- Fill out and compile documents with meticulous detail
- Write briefs and legal arguments for court proceedings
- Track case progress, shepherding cases towards completion
- Be in charge of making sure things get done/file/shipped on time
What we're looking for
- Quality is key. You have high standards and it shows in your work
- You have experience handling and coordinating client matters and communications
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to work well cross-functionally
- You have strong client support, coordination, and task management experience
- Must have a quiet home office with a computer, and reliable internet connection
- Must be excellent in spelling and grammar
- Must be articulate and have an excellent command of the English language
- Must be willing to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessments
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Experience. Prior US immigration law firm experience a plus
