lots of varied tasks and opportunities to advance

Lots of opportunities and days to experience the good and the bad points of working at Ecolab. there were many really gross disgusting work environments in some of the worst customer sites but also many first class sites also.

Horrible company to work for.

Working for Ecolab means you are nothing more than a number on a spreadsheet. Upper Management cares only about their own over-inflated bank accounts and Ecolab shareholders. Employees are criminally underpaid and overworked.

Work hard...and harder

Ecolab is a great organization that really values the environment and its people. I started at around $40k a year and left at nearly $150k a year in less than 5 years. BUT I worked many many hours. Being on call was brutal and without equity. All-in-all I learned a lot and would work for Ecolab again.

Good company

The training was excellent and they tried to take care of their employees. Working in the pest division was hard work and sometimes work life balance was non existent. It could be a really good job if they would just tweak a few things.

Your age will be talked about a lot. Worse if you are not a 21-24 y/o man who isn't a fave. Forget about it if you are not traditionally who the work group hires. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Busy if they don't care for you or starving if they don't care for you.

Heavy workload

They are reluctant to backfill positions. Advancement is difficult unless you are willing to move. The workload is enormous and there is higher turnover. They make promises they never fulfill. Some actions are ethically questionable.Pros: decent pay and benefits

Great people, lots of processes

People were great to work with, customers would call and complain and had to basically drop everything and go service that customer. Lots of checking the box items to do.

Stay away

Do not work here unless your desperate terrible wouldn’t recommend at all never walk the other direction run away as fast as possible. Glad I don’t work there anymore

Great company to work for

Ecolab Rockton was a great place to work for, they promoted from within and cared about their employees. After 6 years I was still the kid with lots of people with 20 plus years.

Good job for someone with no family.

Worked for a year, was constantly getting calls, not even for my accounts. Management refused to fix things. Expects you to cover other people even on weekends when they say they don’t want you working weekends. No pay raises. They just want you to sell products which in turn, angers customers with the whole Nickle and dime procedure.

Pros

Decent pay. Great insurance and benefits.

Contras

Horrible work life balance. No communication from hire ups. Unreliable team.

Buen ambiente de trabajo. Tiene buenos beneficios.. a comparación con otras empresas.

What is the best part of working at the company?That would be the overtime pay.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Some of the middle managers are very suspect and show a LOT of favoritism. Dealing with downtime between changeovers.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Go, Go , Go . . . Wait , Wait, Wait. No real culture. You are a mule to get things from point A to point B. That is all.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Go meeting, get to the line and “hope” you are running. Run , package, palletizing. Go home, sleep, get up, do it all over again.

No room for advancement, Supervisor does not represent the values of the company. He does not allow customer service reps. who work well and hard to build a career path in this company.

Overall good experience, some things to be desired

Typical day has a few meetings. Very flexible hours, but depends on the team and work. Good management, they have experience and give good guidance. However you'll need to push back if deadlines don't match the estimates. Culture is nice, lots of friendly interactions. Most enjoyable part of the job is working with coworkers.

Pros

Good direct managers, friendly co-workers, sometimes we do team lunches. There's lots to learn

Technical debt. Deadlines don't match estimates.

Petite entreprise

Ils faut savoir tout faire,être bricoleur et une entreprise avec seulement 2 personnes dont le patron et un polyvalent pour un petit peu d’interim

Worst Company!

WOREST COMPANY IVE EVER WORKED FOR! They said they take care of their people but they don't. They take care of their buddies and screw over the others. They brag about the work they do for veterans but that's only a smoke screen. They say they care about their customers but they only care about the money. You are only a warm body and a number to them. Only job I ever had that mentally and physically broke me.

Good place to work

Good place to work manger was good and would listen to ideas that employees had. You can move up in the company quickly if you do your job the quickly and effectively

Horrible environment

Total lack of communication between managers and employees, almost zero communication between regular employees, unrealistic quotas when more work piled on each employee.
